Bubble Sexy: Love Land's Unfulfilled Eastern Promises

Citing moral qualms, the Chinese government has ordered the closing of the country’s first-ever theme park devoted to sex.

The unfinished park, dubbed Love Land, was to offer visitors workshops and demonstrations on honing their sexual skills. The London Times reports that a giant rotating statute of a woman sporting a red g-string prompted authorities, who deemed the statue an “evil influence on society,” to reconsider opening the park to the public.

Great peep forward: proscribed Love Land's sexy colossus.

Lu Xiaoqing, the park’s manager, thought Love Land could do much to enlighten the Chinese public: “Sex is a taboo subject in China but people really need to have more access to information about it,” he said, “we are building the park for the good of the public.”

Looks like Chairman Mao’s book isn’t the only thing that’s little and red!
